i’ve thought a lot about how i can use this new year to reduce my anxiety, because that’s really what i care about going forward. i’m choosing to focus on gratitude journaling and yoga, the idea being that if i train my brain to focus on being present and positive, the pattern of anxious thoughts will appear less often.
today i’m thankful that i have my life, that i have a warm place to live and a bed to sleep on. that i have a job and access to food and water. that i don’t have to live alone, but instead get to share this apartment with a genuine person and four animals. i’m grateful that i’m choosing a new form of growth in 2019.
